Dutch smart baby gear manufacturer Nuna has found a way to combine an extremely compact stroller with a basket that’s roomy enough for both yours and your baby’s essentials.
Called the “One Click Wonder,” Nuna’s Tavo bears a bit of resemblance to another model from the same manufacturer, but unlike the Mixx, this one is less expensive and a lot more compact, fact that can only make new moms happy. It should be noted that Tavo doesn’t feature a reversible seat, but with such accessories as the Pupa infant car seat, it can be turned into a travel system quite easily. The best thing about that? You won’t need any additional adapters, as the car seat clicks into the stroller’s frame. This is only one of the features that accentuate Nuna’s desire to create user-friendly products.
As far as Tavo’s seat is concerned, it can accommodate anything from newborns to babies weighing as much as 50 pounds. By the time they weigh that much, toddlers should be able to walk, so Nuna’s specs are a bit exaggerated in order to point out just how sturdy the stroller really is.
Nuna’s Tavo stroller is extremely versatile, as it sports a one-hand, four position recline with true-flat position, a bumper bar and an adjustable leg-rest, along with a very comfortable seat. The canopy has a peek-a-boo window, a pull-out “dream drape,” and a zip-off section in the back that should help air circulate better on hot summer days.
As you can see in the following picture, the stroller is very compact when folded. From h 42.5 x w 22 x l 35.6 in, which are the product’s normal dimensions, it gets to h 18.5 x w 22 x l 36.8 in when folded. As for the weight, the Tavo tips the scale at 24.3 pounds, without the canopy or arm bar. As mentioned at the beginning of this post, the Tavo stroller is called a “One Click Wonder” because it can be folded with auto-lock in just one step, using a single hand.
Nuna TAVO is available in four different colors: Aluminum, Mykonos (Blue), Caviar (Black) and Poppy (Red), so you’ll be able to match the stroller to the baby’s gender, outfits or room. At $349.95, which is how much this compact stroller retails for, the Nuna TAVO may seem a bit expensive, but there’s no doubt that its features fully justify the price.
